IN BRIEF: He has no true title, no money, and no land, but he is widely accepted to be the bastard son of King Maric Theirin. He formally abdicated in 9:31 and a royal inquiry into his birth later that year (just for good measure) was ultimately ruled inconclusive. However, his existence was a terribly kept secret in Denerim from the start, and there are still Theirin loyalists and individuals who don't like the Queen (I cannot imagine why, she's reported to be a lovely woman) for other reasons who would back him if he made a play. Less importantly, but certainly impressive: he is a veteran of the Fifth Blight and therefore a hero, handsome if you don't mind the nose, and has been hanging around Orlais long enough to prove he isn't going to take after his father in the slaughtering-Orlesians department.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I am not one to suggest something so bold as a political coup should the current king fail to return and leave his poor wife bereft of support- but there are those that would have Maric's heir on the throne and it cannot hurt to consider the potential opportunity.

In all honesty this would be the longest gamble and most complicated maneuver, but he would make for a handsome husband, would he not? He seems trainable at the very least, you could use that.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Seeker Dalton is a widower of 15 years, his late wife was the Lady Mirielle Vauquelin. He was sent to Orlais and trained with the Seekers of Truth from the age of eight and thus can be considered both honorable, reputable, and virtuous. He has been in Nevarra serving the Seekers there since his wife's passing and likely could use some Orlesian warmth. He's known to be a quiet, respectable man with no known vices. No pets. His hobbies include riding and reading. A beneficial arrangement for both of you, and a man likely easily charmed. If you require advice on said charming, write your sisters.

This would have been easier if anyone has heard from the boy since he was a child, but they've kept tabs on him through the Templar Order's secretaries and now those of the Inquisition, Frederick has learned that Cade is indeed at Skyhold and in the perfect position to marry you should we find the arrangement beneficial.

It would be an advantageous match for both of our families, as the Harimanns have many resources and trade agreements at their disposal, and Cade's marriage into the our family would assist them in overcoming their family's ruined reputation in the Free Marches. Not much is known on the boy personally but- he's of age, he's healthy, and he is there.

Age: Aged to perfection. After some pressing and plying, Duca Pecatti's faithful manservant and representative has confessed: his lord is but thirty. To have accomplished so much at thirty! No one ever believes it.
Country: Duca Pecatti is a lesser merchant prince of Antiva. you will have heard of the merchant princes, of course! these titles, they are sometimes bought. But for Duca Pecatti? It was granted. And beyond such things, he is of noble blood, so noble he would bleed blue, if you cut him. The lands of Casa di Quinto Bellagamba are fine and prosperous. and et cetera.

In Brief: There is so much to say of Duca Pecatti that to say it all would take far too long. Would you like to hear of his successes in business? He is a shrewd businessman, very shrewd. His sense for a good deal is almost preternatural. He started in the business of wines, and diversified his ventures as soon as he had the opportunity, aided by the small fortune of gemstones inherited from his mother's tragic death.

But his wealth is not only in coins and precious stones! His estate contains a private zoo, a world-class menagerie, including ninety-five white monkeys and fifty-three peacocks that walk his lawns and fields. Rumor has it that once he had a small dragon, too, but it is not often displayed.

He's a fantastic dresser, fabulously wealthy, pious, humble, witty, dashing, brave, and generous to a fault. In fact, he treats his servants with great favor, inspiring deep loyalty to him. Why, even his manservant speaks nothing but praise of him! And as if all of this weren't enough: the whispered rumor among the ladies of Casa di Quinto is that his talents of the night (as they say in the local way) are quite large and impressive as well. Of this, his manservant has said nothing. It is hardly proper to ask such questions, yes? But then again, if the ladies say so, then surely it must be true... but let us not speculate, nor ogle the poor duke overmuch. He suffers so from this attention when he is at home!

FINAL THOUGHTS: This smells like someone trying far, far too hard says mother. I say it sounds positively Antivan. The romance, the adventure, the charm, the details- it seems legitimate enough to me and well worth at least meeting the man. I've asked a few associates in Skyhold and they have all asked around and heard of this man from the same manservant. What's the harm in trying?
